in 2011 I met a lady in the park. She was quietly crying alone, so I introduced myself, it turned out that due to personal circumstances she was saddened that she was unable to give her child the Christmas she deserved. Within a few hours and phone calls to my friends the lady had Xmas!
The following year I made a few hampers from my living room for other local families who I felt needed a "Smile".
My third year Ananda & Clare came onboard and Smiles2Smiles became that bit bigger, we started making more and more. Lesley & Wendy were the next to join us followed by the rest of the team I have to date. I love all my team so much, they are all amazing and Smiles2Smiles would not be what it is today without them. This year we sent out over 350 hampers and made 60 bags for the childen and women in our local refuges. We also gave a little "smile" to all the folk in Hersham who receive meals on wheels.
We receive our nominations from churches, schools, doctors surgeries and our local children's services. We couldn't run Smiles2Smiles without the support of everyone in the community who help us by donating.

I have been part of this wonderful charity for 8 years. The Volunteers are all amazing, giving so much of themselves to support others. Really do believe we bring Smiles 2 many and hope we will be in the position to keep going for many years to come.

I joined the Smiles2Smiles team around 8 years ago. We have gone from just the 3 of us (me, Clare and Ananda) collecting and packing gifts to send "Smiles" to local folk (about 5 hampers) to having an amzing team and sending, this year (2022), over 300 hampers, gifts to every child in our 4 local Women's Refuge, Christmas and Easter gifts to all the elderly who receive meals on wheels in Hersham plus so much more.
None of this would be possible without the dedication of the team and the amazing generosity of all the kind family, friends and members of the public who support our cause.

I have been involved with Smiles2Smiles for over 6 years now and absolutely love it. We bring hope to those that have lost their own and smiles to all that we meet. We pride ourselves in knowing that we have an amazing team at Smiles2Smiles whom care about others and are ready to jump in and help whatever the task may be.

I've been volunteering and helping Smiles2Smiles alongside my Mother Clare Skeggs. I am now part of the team helping where I can. I've watched Smiles2Smiles grow and look forward to seeing where it takes us next X

Smiles2Smiles is a lovely charity to be part of, it's a network of kindness and I love being involved. I've helped out for a few years now but officially became part of the team in 2020.

I had been donating to Smiles2Smiles for many years. This year (2021) I was invited to help at their packing night. I was overwhelmed with the amount of families that were supporting and from that day I joined the team. I am now very involved in sourcing, storing and delivering the food packages to families in our area who struggled throughout the pandemic. I also support the charity with any other projects that occur.
It is a pleasure to be part of this fantastic group.

I've been involved with Smiles2Smiles for 3-4 years now and love how there is help for everyone free of judgement, just plain simple caring.

I have been involved with Smiles2Smiles for 3 years now and I can honestly say that I love the charity and the work they do, so many families have had a smile put on their faces from the amazing work the charity does. I feel very privileged to be part of a wonderful team helping those who need a little extra support. X

I started volunteering for Smiles2Smiles in October 2021. It's fantastic being part of the team and very rewarding to help others in the community.

I have been a team member for the last 4 and a half years helping fundraise and spread smiles around the community and each other. We have all shed a few tears over the years as well as a barrel of laughs. I enjoy helping out others and when I was asked to become a team member I was over the moon, I couldn't be prouder of the team.

I started helping during a packing night a few years ago, the rest as they say is History.
